Quality Specialist
Location: Greater Milwaukee Area (On‑site)

About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Specialist to join a growing manufacturing organization in the Greater Milwaukee area. This role plays a key part in supporting product quality, manufacturing consistency, and continuous improvement efforts across production and supplier processes. The Quality Specialist will work closely with engineering, operations, and suppliers to ensure products meet defined quality standards and specifications.
This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who enjoys being involved on the manufacturing floor and partnering cross‑functionally to drive improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of a Quality Management System (QMS)
Establish and track quality metrics for manufacturing processes and finished products
Conduct inspections, audits, and reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards
Assist with non‑conforming material (NCM) processes and corrective actions
Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues and drive improvement
Partner with engineering and production teams to ensure specifications are properly applied
Review engineering drawings for key characteristics and critical requirements
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, workmanship, and processes
Qualifications
Previous experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of quality systems, inspections, and corrective action processes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail with solid documentation skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, and suppliers
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP or quality system experience is a plus
