Title: HR Coordinator
Type: Direct Hire/Permanent
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Schedule: Monday - Friday; Standard hours of operation (1 Remote Day per week)
Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 annual
Benefits: Health/Dental/Vision/401(k)/PTO/Holidays etc.
Job Description:
- Support recruiting coordination and candidate tracking
- Assist hiring managers throughout the interview process
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation schedules
- Initiate electronic new hire paperwork and workflows
- Communicate firm policies and procedures during orientation
- Set up HRIS access and train employees on timecard entry
- Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data
- Update organization charts and employee directory
- Process new hires, terminations, and employee status changes
- Coordinate weekly timecard review with managers
- Partner with payroll to ensure timecard and payroll accuracy
- Assist with benefits enrollment and annual open enrollment
- Support HR reporting, audits, and annual HR processes
- Ensure I?9 compliance and employment verification
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Qualifications
- Prior experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, or HR Administrator role
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
