Payroll Implementation Project Manager (Contract)
LHH is seeking an experienced Payroll Implementation Manager to lead a 12‑month payroll project based in NYC. This role will own the end‑to‑end implementation of Payroll, partnering with Payroll, HRIS, IT, Finance, and external vendors to ensure a compliant and successful go‑live. Candidates must have experience with Workday Payroll.
Key Focus:
Lead full Payroll implementation
Manage data migration, testing (UAT/parallel), and validation
Ensure U.S. payroll compliance (federal, state, local)
Drive cross‑functional coordination and vendor management
Provide post‑go‑live support and reporting to stakeholders
Requirements:
5+ years of payroll implementation experience
Hands‑on Workday Payroll expertise
Strong global payroll and compliance knowledge
Excellent project management and stakeholder skills
Pay Details: $75.00 to $100.00 per hour
