LHH is working with a client in the Western Suburbs of Chicago that is looking to hire a Jr. PowerBI Developer to join our team for 1 year project. The role will primarily be onsite. Candidates MUST reside in the Chicagoland area or can easily relocate to Chicago to be considered (no exceptions).

Candidates MUST be willing to work as a W2 employee of LHH to be considered.

A Power BI Developer Jr. is responsible for creating and maintaining business intelligence reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI. They work under the supervision of senior developers or analysts to design and implement data visualizations that help organizations make informed business decisions.

Responsibilities may include:

• Gathering and analyzing business requirements for reports and dashboards.


• Developing data models and datasets in Power BI.


• Creating interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.


• Collaborating with business users to refine report designs and functionality.


• Implementing data transformation and cleansing processes in Power BI.


• Writing DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) queries to extract and manipulate data.


• Testing and validating reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.


• Documenting report specifications, data sources, and data dictionaries.


• Providing technical support and training to end users.


• Keeping abreast of new features and updates in Power BI.
