LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for a Cost Accountant for our client in Ocala, FL. This is an onsite, direct hire position.
Responsibilities
Perform accounting functions including:
- Posting journal entries into general ledger
- Performing month/quarter/year end close/cost analyses
- Performing budgeting and forecasting activities
- Reconciling GL accounts
- Preparing financial statements and cost records
- Collaborating with production, purchasing and other departments to ensure accurate cost allocation
- Maintaining accurate accounting data to support organization's financial goals
Experience
- Three to five years of full cycle/cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or production industry required
Skills/Knowledge
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (including Excel-VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and accounting software/ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) knowledge required
Great multi-tasker, detail-oriented and deadline driven
Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
Work Hours/Salary
Monday-Friday - 40 hours per week
$65-75K
