LHH is partnering with a law firm (plaintiff contingency) in search of a VP of Accounting/CFO to join their SoCal location (Irvine, CA & Redlands, CA). In this role you will join the Leadership Team, overseeing all accounting, finance and compliance activities. You can work from home with occasional visits to both offices when necessary. This is a direct hire position that pays between $200K - $250K/year. Here are more details about this job:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Legal financial management including strict regulatory compliance, cash flow management involving contingency arrangements

• Compliance and risk management such as state bar trust accounting standard oversight, internal controls that meet regulatory requirements and developing risk management

• Establish financial controls, reporting infrastructure and coordination between finance and legal case management

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong expertise in legal accounting with state bar trust accounting compliance

• Plaintiff-side legal accounting and contingency fee arrangements experience

• Proven track record working with lenders in a litigation setting
