LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for a Property Accountant for our client in Orlando, FL. This is an onsite, direct hire position.
Responsibilities
Perform accounting functions including:
- Preparing and posting monthly journal entries related to lease income, expenses, and adjustments
- Maintaining accurate lease records and schedules, including rent rolls, leasing commissions, and tenant reconciliations
- Performing month end close for assigned portfolio
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets
- Processing CAM reconciliations
- Supporting internal and external audits by providing lease documentation and financial data
Experience
- One to two years of commercial property/full cycle accounting experience required
Skills/Knowledge
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (including Excel-VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and accounting software/ERP system (e.g., Yardi strongly preferred) knowledge required
Great multi-tasker, detail-oriented and deadline driven
Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
Work Hours/Salary
Monday-Friday - 40 hours per week
$50-55K
