LHH Recruiting Solutions is currently in search of a skilled and experienced Family Law Legal Assistant in Pittsburgh to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and will be responsible for providing administrative support to our legal team.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
Maintain and organize client files
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Schedule appointments and court appearances
Conduct legal research as needed
Prepare correspondence and draft basic legal documents
Assist with trial preparation
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a family law legal assistant
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
Pay Details: $50,000 to $60,000 based on experience
