Accounts Receivable Specialist

A leading company in the semiconductor industry is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist for a temp-to-hire position. This role involves managing the full cycle of accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions, and supporting month-end close activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Regularly review and monitor the Accounts Receivable aging report.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Communicate with customers regarding past due invoices via email, phone, or virtual meetings.
Post daily received payments and allocate them to the appropriate invoices.
Prepare and submit necessary adjustments such as credit and debit memos, sales returns, and price adjustments.
Assist with month-end AR close tasks, including AR reserve calculations, revenue accruals, and intercompany AR reconciliations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve AR processes.
Respond to audit requests from both SOX teams and external auditors.
Provide support to other accounting team members as needed.
Qualifications:
Associate degree
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
Strong account reconciliation skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships.
Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Experience with Oracle ERP and the AR module is a plus.
