Location: Portland Metro Area (varies by event)
Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week (hours may fluctuate based on event schedule)
Duration: 6-month contract
Pay Rate: $21–$26 per hour

Position Overview

A client of LHH Recruitment is seeking a reliable and hands-on Event Assistant to support the execution of events across the Portland metro area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on-site, supporting logistics, and helping events run smoothly from setup through teardown.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport event materials, supplies, and equipment to and from event locations
  • Assist with event setup and teardown, including staging, signage, tables, and materials
  • Provide on-site administrative and logistical support during events
  • Coordinate with internal staff and vendors to ensure event needs are met
  • Track and organize event materials before and after events
  • Support general event-related administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting events, administrative work, or hands-on operations preferred
  • Ability to lift and move event materials (up to ~40 lbs as needed)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation within the Portland metro area
  • Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with a flexible schedule, including occasional early mornings or evenings
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
  • High School Diploma or equivalent



Pay Details: $21.00 to $26.00 per hour
