**Overview:**


LHH is partnering with a client who is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join their team in the manufacturing industry. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for a wide range of manufacturing equipment at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.



**Responsibilities:**



1. **On-Site Support:** Provide on-site technical support and assistance for manufacturing equipment, including installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair tasks.



2. **Customer Interaction:** Interact directly with customers to understand their needs, address technical issues, and provide guidance on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.



3. **Equipment Maintenance:** Perform routine maintenance activities, inspections, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.



4. **Technical Expertise:** Utilize your expertise in mechanical or electrical systems, control systems, and automation to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.



5. **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, equipment logs, and documentation of customer interactions.



6. **Training:** Conduct training sessions for customers on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols to enhance their understanding and proficiency.



7. **Collaboration:** Collaborate closely with internal teams including engineering, sales, and product development to communicate customer feedback, contribute to product improvement efforts, and ensure customer satisfaction.



8. **Travel:** Travel to customer sites as required.



**Requirements:**



1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.


2. Proven experience (0-3+ years) in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, with expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining industrial equipment.


3. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and control systems used in manufacturing equipment.


4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals to diagnose and resolve technical issues.


5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers and internal teams.


6. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.


7. Flexibility to travel frequently and work non-traditional hours as needed.


8. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges.
