Position Overview
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations in a temporary contract role. This position offers a four-day workweek with flexibility, providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting employees and organizational priorities. The role starts ASAP through late June, with the possibility of extension if mutually a good fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a day-to-day HR partner, supporting employees and supervisors across all HR functions
- Manage leaves of absence, including documentation and compliance tracking
- Support recruiting and onboarding, from posting roles to preparing new hire materials
- Assist with employee relations, providing guidance and escalating issues as needed
- Maintain HR records, ensure compliance with policies, and update internal systems
- Participate in projects to improve HR processes, programs, and employee experience
- Collaborate with leadership on HR initiatives and organizational priorities
- Experience as an HR generalist or in a similar role covering recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and leave management
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Professional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to build trust with employees and leadership
- Mission-driven, adaptable, and proactive in problem-solving
- Four-day workweek with Fridays off
