LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking Legal Assistants for contract opportunities in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with legal research and document preparation, case management, administrative support, and have great communication skills.
Responsibilities:Organize and maintain legal files
Perform legal research
Reviewing and analyzing documents relevant to legal cases
Manage e-filing for both state and federal courts
Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and brief
Conduct data entry to maintain up-to-date case records
Provide comprehensive administrative support to legal teams, including scheduling, managing correspondence, and coordinating case materials
Efficiently handle incoming communications
Keep sensitive information confidential and secure
Qualifications:
Familiarity with legal terminology and understanding of legal procedures
A proven background in a Legal Assistant role or a comparable position
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently
The capacity to keep sensitive information confidential
Competency in utilizing computer software for tasks such as data entry, managing documents, and conducting legal research
Strong written and oral communication skills
Exceptional organizational abilities
High school diploma or equivalent
