Schedule: Remote; Part-Time (10–25 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $40-$65/hr.

Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established Portland litigation firm seeking a Contract Attorney to support insurance defense matters. This role will assist with cases from intake through resolution, with the opportunity to take on more substantive responsibilities over time. This is a fully remote, part-time opportunity ideal for an experienced attorney looking for flexibility while remaining engaged in active litigation work.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with case intake, file review, and document review
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support active litigation matters
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and related legal documents
- Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including discovery
- Communicate with clients and opposing counsel as needed
- Manage assigned caseloads and meet deadlines
- Take on additional substantive work as familiarity with the practice grows
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of litigation experience
- Insurance defense experience is a plus but not required, training can be provided
- Juris Doctor with an active Oregon Bar license
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work independently in a remote environment
- Comfortable supporting multiple attorneys
