Job Title: Litigation Legal Assistant
Location: Portland, Oregon
Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days in-office/2 remote
Salary: $70,000-$90,000 DOE
Employment Type: Direct Hire

Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a Portland law firm to hire an experienced Legal Assistant. This role provides direct support to a team of attorneys handling complex, high-stakes business disputes. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring a solid understanding of litigation procedures, and demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform e-filing in multiple jurisdictions with strict adherence to court rules and procedures
  • Manage litigation calendars and deadlines within docketing databases
  • Proofread, edit, and finalize litigation documents and correspondence
  • Assist attorneys with case management and trial preparation as needed
  • Collaborate with other legal assistants and staff to ensure seamless support for attorneys

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of business litigation experience required
  • Strong knowledge of Oregon court rules, e-filing procedures, and legal calendaring
  • Prior experience working within a docketing database or a transferable depth of knowledge in court rules and deadlines
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to handle competing priorities and interruptions in a busy litigation practice
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and dependable
