Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established Pacific Northwest law firm to hire an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant for their Portland office. In this role, you will provide high-level administrative and litigation support to attorneys in a fast-paced practice, including document preparation, court e-filings, case management, and regular communication with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced legal administrative support, including drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents
 - Handle state, federal, and appellate court e-filings
 - Review and verify legal citations and references for accuracy
 - Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic files and assist with matter openings and closings
 - Coordinate schedules, deadlines, and case-related tasks to support attorneys
 - Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all work
 
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of litigation legal assistant experience (or a comparable combination of experience and training)
 - Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules
 - Experience e-filing in Oregon and Washington courts strongly preferred
 - Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
 - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 - Proficiency with legal software and MS Office Suite preferred
