Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Project Manager Assistant with experience in manufacturing to support our client’s project management team in overseeing and coordinating various manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. As a Project Manager Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects within established timelines and budgets.


Responsibilities:


  1. Project Coordination: Assist the project manager in coordinating all aspects of manufacturing projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task management.


  2. Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and meeting minutes.


  3. Communication: Serve as a liaison between project stakeholders, including internal teams, external vendors, and clients, to ensure clear and timely communication throughout the project lifecycle.


  4. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and collaborate with the project manager to develop mitigation strategies.


  5. Quality Assurance: Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, addressing any deviations as necessary.


  6. Budget Management: Assist in tracking project expenses and maintaining adherence to budgetary constraints.


  7. Resource Management: Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure the availability of resources needed for project completion.


  8. Timeline Management: Support the project manager in creating and maintaining project schedules, identifying critical path activities, and monitoring progress against milestones.


  9. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.


  10. Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the project manager to support the overall success of manufacturing projects.


Qualifications:


  1. Manufacturing Experience: Minimum of 1 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.


  2. Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to assist in managing projects from initiation to completion, including project planning, scheduling, and resource management.


  3. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


  4. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.


  5. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to support project objectives.


  6. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.


  7. Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve common goals.


  8. Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions as needed.


  9. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar tools) and Microsoft Office Suite.


  10. Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
