A highly respected heavy civil contractor to hire a Senior Project Manager with deep experience delivering large, complex civil infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple heavy civil construction projects simultaneously, including deep sewer pipeline work, with total project values ranging from $10M–$250M

  • Maintain full ownership of project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and margin control from award through closeout

  • Manage and develop project teams while coordinating closely with estimating, field leadership, owners, and agency stakeholders

  • Negotiate contract changes, manage risk, ensure safety compliance, and strengthen long-term client relationships that support repeat business


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline

  • 15+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction

  • 5+ years managing self-performed work

  • Proven ability to deliver large projects profitably while making high-level decisions and mentoring senior project staff


Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $160,000 – $200,000 (DOE)

  • Bonus Program: Earn up to 50% of base salary based on performance

  • Location: Portland, OR (job-site based)
