Job Title: Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP)

Location: Portland, Oregon (Hybrid)
Compensation: $110,000–$130,000 annually
Department: Human Resources


About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our dynamic team. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving people strategies that support business objectives, enhance organizational effectiveness, and foster a high-performance culture. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with deep HR expertise and a passion for employee engagement and development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management.

  • Lead initiatives in performance management, employee relations, and succession planning.

  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform strategic decisions and improve processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support change management and organizational development.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.

  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across the organization.

  • Mentor and coach managers on leadership and employee development.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a business partner or strategic HR role.

  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compensation practices, and HR systems.

  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships with senior leaders.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed environment preferred.

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
