Our client is looking for a seasoned Pipe Superintendent for a well-established heavy civil contractor delivering complex underground utility and pipeline projects. This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership role for someone who thrives in the field, takes ownership of safety and execution, and knows how to lead crews through challenging scopes of work.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Lead all field operations for pipeline and underground utility work, with full accountability for safety, productivity, quality, and schedule performance

• Supervise multiple crews, develop future leaders in the field, and maintain the proper balance of foremen, journeymen, and labor personnel

• Drive project execution by reviewing plans for constructability, managing site logistics, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining clear field communication

• Partner with project leadership and clients to resolve issues, track costs and cash flow, and deliver successful project closeout and turnover

What I’m Looking For

• 7+ years of construction experience

• Open-cut pipe (large, deep, urban—not small water pipe) - experience

• 4+ years as superintendent/supervisor installing piping and utilities underground

• Strong communication, planning, negotiation, and contract administration skills with the ability to build long-term working relationships

• Highly motivated, organized self-starter comfortable working onsite and adapting quickly to project demands and systems

Salary: $130,000 – $180,000 (DOE)

Bonus Program: earn up to 50% of base salary
