About the Role:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Creditors' Rights Paralegal to join a respected North Carolina law firm in Raleigh. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated legal professional to support a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, with the potential for hybrid work after an initial on-site onboarding period.
Key Responsibilities:
Support attorneys in commercial and consumer bankruptcy, collections, and foreclosure matters.
Draft, e-file, and serve legal documents in compliance with state and federal court rules.
Manage case flow, docket deadlines, and maintain both electronic and physical files.
Communicate with court personnel, sheriff’s departments, and involved parties.
Utilize electronic filing systems and monitor schedules and service requirements.
Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including motions, notices, and releases.
File pleadings via NC e-portal and manage court calendaring.
Maintain firm and client databases, ensuring procedural compliance.
Qualifications:
2+ years of recent experience in bankruptcy, collections, and foreclosure law supporting busy US Creditors' Rights attorneys in a busy law firm environment.
Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies preferred
NC Notary Public certification (or ability to obtain).
Familiarity with creditor and court platforms.
Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Compensation:
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and NC Paralegal Certification status, ranging from $50,000 to $100,000. Excellent comprehensive benefits are available.
