$25.00 - $30.00 per Hour

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking to fill an Accounts Payable Clerk job opportunity for an East Bay construction company located in Richmond, CA. This position is 100 percent in-office! The right candidate should have at least 2 years of experience handling accounts payable and be comfortable working in a fast-paced high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for processing 500 invoices a week
  • 3-Way matching (Invoices, Purchases Orders & Delivery Logs/Inventory)
  • Ensure invoices are billed and coded correctly to the correct job
  • Verify all invoices have the proper approval
  • Reconcile monthly statements
  • Research and resolve any discrepancy with a vendor and maintain and build on the relationship
  • Maintain the administration portion of the job including scanning, copying, updating vendor files, track insurance documents, and filing
  • Assist on projects as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is preferred
  • Industry experience in the construction field is highly preferred
  • Solid knowledge of accounting and knowing your debits and credits
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment
  • Able to work independently, take initiative, and be self-motivated
  • Attention to detail, problem-solver, multi-tasker, and strong time management skills
  • Strong communications (written & verbal)
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)

Experience: 2 years Accounts Payable experience (Accounts Payable Clerk, Accounts Payable Specialist, Accounting Clerk, Accounting Assistant)
