Job Title: IT Support Analyst(Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Downtown Sacramento, CA (Hybrid: 2–3 days/week onsite)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Service Desk Engineer to join their IT team on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that values reliability, technical proficiency, and strong communication skills. The role is hybrid, requiring 2–3 days per week onsite at in downtown Sacramento.


Key Responsibilities

  • Level 1 & Level 2 Support: Provide technical assistance for Windows-based environments, addressing user issues promptly and professionally.

  • Ticket Management: Review, prioritize, and resolve support tickets primarily through Freshservice.

  • Device Lifecycle Management: Handle laptop imaging, refresh cycles, procurement, inventory, and e-waste management.

  • Meeting Room Setup: Assist with AV and technical setups for meetings as needed.

  • Asset Management: Utilize tools such as Snipe IT, IT Glue, and Jira for tracking and documentation.


Top Must-Haves

  • Ability to work onsite in a hybrid schedule (2–3 days/week, rotation required).

  • Technical proficiency in:

    • Windows environments

    • Laptop imaging and asset management

    • Freshservice, Snipe IT, Jira, Atlassian, and IT Glue

  • Strong communication and customer service skills; approachable and able to explain technical solutions clearly.


Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Windows environments; minimal iOS support.

  • Familiarity with IT service management tools (Freshservice, Jira, etc.).

  • No degree required—equivalent work experience accepted.

  • Industry experience in dental, insurance, or property management is a plus but not required.


Schedule & Work Environment

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PT (40 hours/week).

  • No after-hours or on-call expected.

  • Collaborative, open culture—ideal candidates are reliable, communicative, and eager to learn.


Compensation

Hourly Pay: $26-32/hr
