Receptionist

Customer Service & Support

Front Office Receptionist

Location: Sacramento, CA (Fully Onsite)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

This Receptionist role provides front office and administrative support in a professional, low foot traffic environment. The position serves as the first point of contact by phone, manages incoming mail, and supports day to day administrative needs.

Responsibilities

- Answer and route incoming phone calls; provide accurate information or direct inquiries appropriately

- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages

- Greet occasional visitors and maintain a professional, welcoming reception area

- Provide general administrative support, including email correspondence and document preparation

- Assist with scheduling, calendar coordination, and meeting logistics

- Support internal staff with administrative tasks such as expense reporting, invoice processing, and vendor coordination

- Prepare, organize, and maintain documents, files, and records (digital and hard copy)

- Assist with special projects and time sensitive administrative requests

- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external contacts to resolve questions or issues

- Prepare basic reports, correspondence, and internal documentation

- Coordinate internal and external meetings as needed

- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information

- Participate in knowledge sharing, training, and team collaboration

- Support onboarding or mentoring of new administrative staff, as needed

Required Qualifications

- 1–2+ years of experience in an administrative, receptionist, front desk, or customer facing role

- Comfortable answering phones, handling mail, and multitasking in an office setting

- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)

- Tech savvy with the ability to quickly learn internal systems and tools

- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills

- Team oriented, reliable, and collaborative

- Outcome focused with strong attention to detail and follow through
