Litigation Paralegal
A highly regarded, collaborative mid‑size law firm with a strong litigation practice is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join its San Diego office. This position supports a busy litigation team and offers meaningful exposure, collaboration across offices, and long‑term career development.
Work Location & Schedule
This role is 100% in‑office, five days per week, in the San Diego office.
Compensation
The reasonably expected salary range for this position is $100,000 – $120,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, finalize, and manage litigation documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
Support all phases of discovery, including preparing requests and responses, summarizing depositions, and organizing document productions
Assist with trial and hearing preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing trial binders, and coordinating logistics
Maintain case files, track court deadlines, and manage case chronologies
Conduct legal and factual research related to litigation matters
Provide ongoing litigation support to attorneys in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
Ideal Background
5+ years law firm experience is required
California filing experience required
Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required
Comfortable collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and teams across multiple offices
Litigation‑focused background
iManage document management experience
Familiarity with Elite 3E
Creating Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities
Trial preparation experience (e.g., preparing trial binders and exhibits;
