LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Office Administrative Assistant to join our client’s team in Sorrento Valley. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment, thrives on organization, and is eager to support daily business operations.

The Office Administrative Assistant will be responsible for handling a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure smooth office operations. Duties include answering and directing phone calls, greeting and assisting visitors, scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining office supplies. The role will also involve preparing reports, handling data entry, processing correspondence, and supporting internal departments as needed.



Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth daily office operations

  • Answer and direct incoming calls, greet visitors, and respond to inquiries

  • Schedule meetings, coordinate calendars, and assist with travel arrangements

  • Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations

  • Handle data entry, filing, and maintain accurate records

  • Order and manage office supplies to ensure inventory is stocked

  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence

  • Support internal departments with clerical and administrative tasks as needed

  • Assist with onboarding processes and HR-related documentation when required

  • Maintain a professional and welcoming office environment


Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of administrative or office assistant experience preferred

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Professional, dependable, and adaptable in a dynamic workplace


Working Hours:

  • Full-time

  • Onsite

  • Monday- Friday

  • 8:00am – 5:00pm PST


Position Details:

  • Location: Located in Sorrento Valley, San Diego

  • Contract to hire role

  • Compensation: $21.00- $30.00 per hour DOE
