Job Title: Receptionist



Location: San Jose, CA



Overview:


We are currently seeking a professional and courteous Receptionist to join our team in San Jose. As the first point of contact for our organization, the Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a positive impression for visitors and callers.



Responsibilities:




  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.


  • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department.


  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.


  • Receive and sort mail and deliveries.


  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.


  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying.


  • Handle inquiries from clients, vendors, and employees.


  • Maintain security by following procedures and monitoring visitor access.


  • Provide general support to staff as needed.



Qualifications:




  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).


  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.


  • Professional appearance and demeanor.


  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
