Human Resources Coordinator

The Human Resources Coordinator supports daily HR operations by providing administrative and coordination assistance across multiple HR functions, including onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and HR systems support. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and works closely with HR leadership to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant HR processes. This is a great opportunity located near Schaumburg, IL.



Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including offer documentation, I?9 verification, system entry, and orientation scheduling.

  • Maintain accurate and up?to?date employee records in HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and general employment matters.

  • Support payroll and benefits processes by submitting employee changes, auditing data, and assisting with reporting.

  • Prepare HR documentation, correspondence, and reports while maintaining organized electronic and physical files.

  • Assist with leave administration, offboarding processes, and compliance documentation as required.

  • Coordinate HR-related meetings, training sessions, and internal communications.

  • Support HR audits, projects, and process improvements to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies.


Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Previous experience in an HR, administrative, or coordination role.

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and confidentiality.

  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast?paced environment.

  • Experience supporting payroll, benefits, or leave administration.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.

  • Experience with employee onboarding and records management.


Job Details:

  • Contract to Hire

  • 100% onsite

  • Pay $22- $27 an hour depending on experience
