Accounts Receivable Specialist (Hybrid – Kent, WA)
Location: Kent (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)
Pay Rate: $28–$35/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing team in Kent, WA. This role is responsible for managing invoicing, collections, and cash application while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all receivable processes. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and timely
Post and reconcile incoming payments (ACH, wire, check, credit card)
Manage collections efforts, including following up on past-due accounts
Monitor aging reports and proactively resolve outstanding balances
Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
Maintain accurate customer records and credit information
Assist with month-end close activities, including AR reconciliations
Prepare reports on AR status, cash flow, and collections activity
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting teams
Qualifications
2+ years of accounts receivable or billing experience
Experience with collections and cash applications
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, sorting/filtering)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a high-volume or multi-entity environment
Knowledge of credit and collections best practices
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
