Job Posting: Commercial Development Analyst


Location: Seattle, WA Pay Rate: $60.00 - $69.00hr Schedule: Onsite 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday), Remote on Mondays and Fridays.


Job Summary and Mission:

The Commercial Development Analyst plays a critical role in driving success by leveraging customer POS, shipment, and forecasting data to develop actionable reporting strategies. This position serves as the bridge between Marketing, Operations, Forecasting, and Customer teams, translating category marketing plans into executable plans. The role represents the voice of the customer and is responsible for delivering the business plan to key teams and retail partners.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Prioritize business needs within the Go To Market strategy and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to support sales objectives.


  • Analyze internal and competitive business trends at key retailers to identify and communicate emerging trends.


  • Develop and communicate business plans to retail partners and customer management teams.


  • Work with customer forecasting leads to ensure accurate demand and supply forecasts to service retail partners and meet customer needs.


  • Champion innovative business ideas based on customer communications and market analyses.


  • Lead business updates and reporting with cross-functional partners to drive business goals.


  • Identify opportunities for growth at Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers by understanding key business drivers.


  • Demonstrate strong financial discipline and business acumen while developing and selling solutions.


  • Educate multi-functional teams on customer requirements and advocate for customer needs.


  • Collaborate with field sales and demand planning to identify distribution opportunities and deliver AOP results.


Experience & Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, leveraging multi-functional resources and executing product strategies within a global CPG company.


  • Proven experience in managing joint business plans and executing sales strategies with major CPG customers across multiple categories.


  • Experience presenting new items, promotional strategies, and seasonal plans to CPG retailers.


  • Experience with CPG retailers, including new item presentations, promotional presentations, and strategic planning.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $69.00 per hour Search managed by: Riley Grubbs
