LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Patient Access Representative for a growing organization in Tukwila, WA. As a Patient Access Rep, you will provide the highest level of customer service to patients, fellow employees, and referral sources. You will play a vital role in our healthcare team by utilizing your expertise in medical terminology to navigate insurance benefits and facilitate authorizations for various infusion and enteral therapies. Your responsibilities will include compiling and maintaining medical charts, reports, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Location: On-Site in Tukwila, WA .
Shift: M-F 8am - 5pm
Responsibilities:
Verify insurance benefits and eligibility for new referrals.
Evaluate documentation for therapy coverage eligibility.
Generate patient financial responsibility notices.
Maintain accurate patient and physician records.
Obtain pre-authorizations and referrals.
Conduct Medicare eligibility and formulary checks.
Assist with charity agreements and financial aid.
Requirements:
1 year medical office experience.
Reimbursement knowledge preferred.
Proficiency in insurance benefit verification.
Fast and accurate typing skills.
Effective communication skills.
Computer proficiency.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Strong customer service skills.
