Location: South San Francisco, CA
Compensation: Up to $40 per hour
Job Type: Onsite, Full-Time, 6-12 Month Contract
LHH is working with a national corporation in seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Retail Lease Specialist with a strong legal background to join their team in South San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in retail real estate leasing, with a particular focus on commercial retail lease agreements, preferably in the chain or quick service restaurant industry. This role involves reviewing, redlining, and managing lease documents, license agreements, and lease recaps/abstracts for new and existing locations.
Responsibilities:
Lease Review and Redlining: Analyze, review, and redline PDF lease documents, license agreements, and other legal documents for accuracy and compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
Lease Management: Handle lease agreements for all temporary holiday locations and short-term storage, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with business needs.
Lease Recaps/Abstracts: Prepare and maintain lease recaps/abstracts for all leased locations, including new and existing sites, ensuring all pertinent information is accurately captured and up-to-date.
Legal Coordination: Collaborate with legal, real estate, and operations teams to ensure lease terms align with overall business strategies and objectives.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all lease documentation complies with legal standards and company policies, maintaining organized and comprehensive records.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding lease-related inquiries and issues.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of experience in retail real estate, specifically with commercial retail lease agreements.
Strong legal background, with the ability to interpret and negotiate lease terms and conditions effectively.
Proficiency in reviewing and redlining legal documents, including PDFs, leases, and other contractual agreements.
Experience with license agreements for temporary locations and short-term storage.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leases and agreements simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
