LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading organization in the aviation industry to identify a skilled Contract Recruiter with experience hiring aircraft mechanics and technicians. This is a long-term, fully onsite opportunity based in Tempe, offering the chance to support high-impact hiring initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for aviation roles, including aircraft mechanics, technicians, and related skilled positions
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring priorities and workforce needs
- Source candidates using a variety of channels, including job boards, networking, and industry-specific platforms
- Screen candidates for technical qualifications, certifications (FAA preferred), and overall fit
- Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication with candidates and internal stakeholders
- Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Assist with offer coordination and onboarding support as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within aviation, aerospace, or skilled trades
- MUST HAVE experience recruiting for aviation mechanics and/or technicians
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a high-volume environment
- Strong sourcing, screening, and relationship-building skills
- Familiarity with FAA certifications and aviation terminology is highly preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday in Tempe
