LHH is seeking a Sales & Customer Support Specialist for our client. This individual will provide critical operational and systems support to the Trade & Industrial Distribution Sales team. This role partners closely with Sales Managers and leadership to ensure CRM and ERP data accuracy, support reporting and analytics, and enhance overall sales effectiveness.
Serving as a Salesforce.com subject matter expert, this position plays a key role in data management, process optimization, and cross functional collaboration to support sales and customer service initiatives across the U.S. and Canada.
Key Responsibilities
CRM & ERP Management
Maintain accurate and up to date customer, account, and contact data within Salesforce.com and SAP
Support Sales Managers by ensuring account and data integrity across CRM and ERP systems
Build, manage, and maintain customer contact databases within Salesforce.com
Partner with IT teams in Germany to support Salesforce updates, including fields, templates, and new account onboarding
Apply CRM best practices to improve system adoption, usability, and ongoing optimization
Act as a Salesforce.com resource and subject matter expert for Sales and Customer Service teams
Create, update, and maintain new customer accounts within SAP
Sales Operations & Support
Provide operational support to regional and key account sales teams for the Trade & Industrial channel across the U.S. and Canada
Assist with sales performance, commission, and rebate reporting and analysis
Support sales presentations, reports, and materials development
Provide systems, reporting, and process training for Sales and Customer Service team members
Assist with special projects and cross functional initiatives as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
3–5 years of experience in sales operations, sales administration, or customer/sales support roles
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Hands on experience with Salesforce.com required; SAP or similar ERP systems strongly preferred
Strong analytical and business acumen
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, detail oriented, and solutions focused
Pay/Benefits:
Pay: $55,000 - $75,000
