Spanish-Speaking Litigation Paralegal
Location: Downtown Los Angeles (Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time, Hybrid (2-3 days Onsite), Direct Hire
Compensation: Up to $100,000 per year along with Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Time and Holidays, Healthcare, Dental and Vision Coverage, 401k
LHH is working with a well-established law firm in Downtown Los Angeles in seeking a Spanish-Speaking Litigation Paralegal with at least 3+ years of experience to support attorneys in litigation defense matters. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with case management, ensuring all deadlines and filings are met
Maintain and organize case files, including digital and physical records
Prepare and file legal documents in state civil and federal bankruptcy courts
Draft discovery requests, responses, declarations, and motion forms/templates
Manage attorney calendars, schedule hearings, depositions, and client meetings
Coordinate service of process and filings with courts and opposing counsel
Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish regarding case status and documentation
Qualifications:
Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
5+ years of litigation experience
Strong knowledge of civil and federal bankruptcy court procedures
Experience handling discovery, declarations, and motion drafting
Proficiency in legal software and case management systems
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
