HR Coordinator/ Administrator – Onboarding & Background Checks

On-site: City of Industry

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Administrator to support our high-volume onboarding process. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth and compliant experience for new hires by managing background checks, coordinating with third-party vendors, and serving as a liaison between applicants, hiring managers, and background screening providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding for large volumes of new hires, ensuring timely completion of all pre-employment requirements.

  • Coordinate background check processes with third-party vendors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for applicants regarding onboarding status and background check progress.

  • Liaise with hiring managers to communicate candidate status and resolve any onboarding issues.

  • Track and report on onboarding metrics and background check completion rates.

  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HR administration, preferably in a high-volume onboarding environment.

  • Familiarity with background check procedures and working with third-party screening vendors.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus

Salary: $25 to $29 DOE

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
